The human body is a marvellous construction formed by God, and was made for a reason, to be in his image. We should honour our bodies this includes, everything to maintain the complex design and moral statutes expected by the creator.

Genesis 1:27

“So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”

We were fashioned from dust from the ground God breathed life into us, becoming a beautiful living being.

Genesis 2-7

“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.“

The human body is a wonderfully fashioned cog, that science cannot fully explain or understand. The bible tells us just how stunning we were made.

Psalm 139:14

I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

Marvelous are Your works,

And that my soul knows very well.

We have all been redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ so we should be grateful respecting our form. Our bodies are not to be defiled by smoking, tattoos, foods, etc that give us conditions man-made like diabetes. God gives us healthy food in scripture to eat, not processed or full of sugar, we can’t do want we want with our bodies.

1 Corinthians 10:31

“Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.“

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

“Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”

So if we are born again and a temple to God, we also hold The Holy Spirit, we were designed to glorify God in our bodies and to our wife’s in the blessing of the spirit which in dwells inside us. In marriage and love human bodies become part of our service and worship to the Almighty and to one another.

Romans 12-1

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.”

Christ is our shining example and blueprint to eternal life. The human body is a walking illustration of how the church or Christians should go about their daily business, is reasonable service too much to ask?

Peter 2:21

“For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:”

Romans 12:4-5

“For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.”

So we have God emblazoned in our hearts and fundamental morals to abide by, so why is it so difficult in modern-day to follow Gods laws? What does it mean to love?

Love

God is love and we were created in his image.

1 John 4:7-12

“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

Seeing God Through Love

No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.”

Gods love overcomes everything even death. Nothing can separate mankind from his divine love, not even things to come.

Romans 8:38-39

“For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

God looks to us, he wants us back. To bridge the separation, back to our true Father who created us for so much more than this life. The draw of God is always there we may fight it, deny his sovereignty but ultimately he draws us near.

Jeremiah 31:3

“The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying:

“Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love;

Therefore with loving kindness I have drawn you.”

God manifested himself into his Son who died for our sins, which only the blood of Christ was good enough as a sacrificial offering. This love and suffering, most people do not understand, but this was done to give us the chance to believe in Jesus, and through him to have everlasting life.

John 3:16

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

Gods love lasts forever, he is the inventor of love, sex and mankind. We were made in his image, with free will and made sexual creatures.

Psalm 136:1

“Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!

For His mercy endures forever.”

So we have an understanding of the love of God, and it lasts forever. But what actually is love? The bible tells us:

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

“Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”

Love is deep and priceless a beautiful gift causing no fear.

John 4:18

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

We are commanded to love, and love one another even our enemies. It may seem hard to love everybody even our enemies. How can we love someone who hurts us, or kills a family member? God tells us if we can’t forgive, we sin. Everything that is wrong God Judges, as an example of Christ we are to turn the other cheek. Forgive, and love that person which is our reasonable service.

Matthew 5:43-46

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.”

Love is the foundation of Gods statutes. We are to keep his commandments.

Matthew 22:37-40

Jesus said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

1 John 5:3

“For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.”

Unfortunately we have let our love weaken in the modern age. We have forgotten how to love God, how to love one another which is evident in marriage, sex has taken over as a physical, love just a feeling, the bond of oneness with Christ and one another broken.

Deuteronomy 6:5

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.”

Revelation 2:4-5

Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.

So if we understand who we are, we are created in Gods image. We were made to love God and love others. We have a purpose in the plan of God, to be made new and live forever, our identity is with Christ, with sound doctrine, morals and vows we make to God and our Wife’s. Marriage is not just a piece of paper, or quickly done on the Internet, it is a covenant with Christ, honoring the very essence of love. Your partner becomes one with you in a blessed Union. How many people keep their word today?

Vows

Leviticus 5:4

“Or if a person swears, speaking thoughtlessly with his lips to do evil or to do good, whatever it is that a man may pronounce by an oath, and he is unaware of it—when he realizes it, then he shall be guilty in any of these matters.”

Matthew 5:37

“But let your “Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.”

Marriage vows are permanent you become one with your wife. One flesh joined by God, not by money or a piece of paper. It is an intimate Blend and equal partnership. It is a natural institution and a sacred Union.

Matthew 19:5-6

“For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”

Marriage

To Be One With Your Wife, no one is perfect in marriage, this Union can be hard work. But the gift of love out-ways two sinners. This is the true essence of love, you are entwined as three. Three strands God, husband and wife. Three can overcome any obstacle better than one. Hebrew word for wife is gender specific. This can’t mean anything else other than a woman. God commissioned sex to only take place between a married couple, it follows that God’s design is for a family bond to be formed when a man and woman come together in a sexual relationship and have children. The Bible stands firm and is the clear definition of marriage a union of God one man and one woman for life.

1 Peter 4:8

“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.”

Ecclesiastes 4:12

“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”

If we keep unity with each other within the blessing of the Spirit we imitate Christ through the beautiful bond of peace.

Ephesians 4:2-3

“Be completely humble and gentle; Be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the spirit through the bond of peace.”

So let’s break this down more we have established marriage was divinely created. God said man should not be alone, and made him a helper in a woman.

Genesis 2:18

“And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”

Marriage is more than just a bit of paper or words, which down the line we don’t keep our vows, it is a union of three strands. A covenant between God, man and his wife, and they will become joined, one flesh.

Matthew 19:4-6

And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ and said, “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”

Marriage is a joining of love we should nourish our wives as our own bodies, giving her everything so she will holy, cleansed and both couples form a glorious church, this means man and woman walk in the spirit, imitating the love of Christ.

Ephesians 5:28-29

“So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church.”

Ephesians 5:25-27

“Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.”

Love in marriage should endure all things, no body said it would be easy, life throws up all sorts of dilemmas and complications. But with wisdom and the blessings of God love never fails.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8

“Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.”

Marriage is giving honor to God, and can only be dissolved by marital unfaithfulness.

Hebrews 13:4

“Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.”

Matthew 5:32

“But I say to you that whoever divorces his wife for any reason except sexual immorality causes her to commit adultery; and whoever marries a woman who is divorced commits adultery.”

Marriage is a commitment for life a covenant between three. God, Man and woman. How many people these days honor the commitment, establishing children in a loving relationship? A man and a woman meld completely to complement children, giving them the love essential for life. Woman have biological programming that makes them good caregivers. Women’s bodies have a hormonal connection to their babies. Men have a bond too with their child, it’s a fact that the more time we spend with our children the deeper the bond grows. Being a parent is hard, but the rewards push out the negatives, unity with God is the building blocks for life.

Romans 7:2

For the woman who has a husband is bound by the law to her husband as long as he lives. But if the husband dies, she is released from the law of her husband.

Philippians 2:3-4

Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.

So Wedding bliss, a ceremony of two becoming one. The woman wears a White dress even though blue was the original color associated with virginity and purity in the Christian Faith. It’s a spiritual occasion and white symbolizes chastity of the soul.

Sex

Sex is a gift from God, to a man and a woman who are married. They become one with each other.

Proverbs 5:18-19

“Let your fountain be blessed,

And rejoice with the wife of your youth.

As a loving deer and a graceful doe,

Let her tender charms satisfy you at all times;

And always be enraptured with her love.“

Hebrews 13:4

“Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.”

Both a man and a woman should fulfill there marital duties but the marriage bed kept pure.

1 Corinthians 7:3-4

“Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.”

Sex is not dirty, perverted or twisted in any way from what it was designed for as sex is under the control of Christ. We are to maintain purity, and holiness keeping away any sin, perversions or actions that take us out of the will of God.

Thessalonians 4:3-5

“For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor.“

Sexual sin is against your own body which is a temple to God. Sexual sin can start just by looking at another woman, how would your wife feel if she noticed you looking at another woman with lustful intent?

1 Corinthians 6:18

“Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.”

Matthew 5:28

“But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”

Sex is a wonderful blessing given to us by the Lord that serves to express intimacy to another. sexual union is representative of the intimacy found in the Trinity, the beautiful bond of Father, son and spirit. So the purpose of sex is to glorify God, raise children, express intimacy, provide comfort, and bless each other which is our reasonable service.

Divorce

Marriage Is more than paper, Marriage is a commitment not a thought, or to throw away after the first signs of conflict within the union. Divorce is destructive, having a long-lasting effect on children. This breaks the natural order and bond, between three. God, man and woman, then any thread still holding things together snaps when children are involved. How many people honor there vows till death do you part?

Romans 7:2

“For the woman who has a husband is bound by the law to her husband as long as he lives. But if the husband dies, she is released from the law of her husband.”

Marriage is a union joined by almighty God not just a signed piece of paper.

Matthew 19:4-5

And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ and said, “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’?

When you marry you pledge a covenant to the Lord becoming one person. God wants you to have a holy life, parenting Godly children.

Malachi 2:14-15

Yet you say, “For what reason?”

Because the Lord has been witness

Between you and the wife of your youth,

With whom you have dealt treacherously;

Yet she is your companion

And your wife by covenant.

But did He not make them one,

Having a remnant of the Spirit?

And why one?

He seeks godly offspring.

Therefore take heed to your spirit,

And let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth.

God hates divorce and men that stray from their wives. We need to be loyal and control our passions, and walk in the spirit not in the flesh.

Malachi 2:16

“For the Lord God of Israel says

That He hates divorce,

For it covers one’s garment with violence,”

Says the Lord of hosts.

“Therefore take heed to your spirit,

That you do not deal treacherously.”

Divorce is a last resort, God permits this only if adultery or sexual immorality has been committed in his eyes, which then destroys your own temple to God.

Matthew 19:9

“And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery.”

Marriage is not based on feelings if you are not happy, or it’s not working. It’s based on divine principles of love. A partnership will always bring conflict, but that’s where God helps you sit down and talk things through with the power of the Holy Spirit. Gods love never fails, within his arms we can endure all things. Remember marriage is three people for life, God, man and his wife three strands to glorify God yourself and children.

Abortion

Abortion is a sin and God forbids mankind taking a life. A fetus has its own fingerprints from three weeks old, nothing else added other than nutrients and oxygen. We have a unique identity before we were born from the seed of life, and are marvelously made, ordained to be a prophet to the nations. Ambassadors of Christ.

Jeremiah 1:5

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;

Before you were born I sanctified you;

I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

Psalm 139:13-14

“For You formed my inward parts;

You covered me in my mother’s womb.

I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

Marvelous are Your works,

And that my soul knows very well.“

God commands us not to commit murder and take a life. In the case of incest or rape, God is the judge for that persons sin.

Exodus 20:13

“You shall not murder.”

Deuteronomy 24:16

“Fathers shall not be put to death for their children, nor shall children be put to death for their fathers; a person shall be put to death for his own sin.”

To avoid making the wrong decisions God is always at hand to help. We all need wisdom, through The Holy Spirit our companion and comforter.

Human thoughts and actions can easily get caught up in sin, where as wisdom through the spirit and the love of God conquers all. Christ gives us strength.

James 1:5

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.“

Philippians 4:13

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

God will forgive if you come to him for all of our mistakes.

Isaiah 1:18

Come now, and let us reason together,”

Says the Lord,

“Though your sins are like scarlet,

They shall be as white as snow;

Though they are red like crimson,

They shall be as wool.

The first and foremost instinct of humans is to protect all life. This begins with self-preservation, and extends to all mankind through love and bonds. Pregnancy termination” stops the heart of a growing human being and is in direct contradiction to this most basic statutes of human nature. It forsakes natural law, and Gods laws. Remember God has ordained us a prophet before conception.
