What Is a Rainbow?

Let’s look at a rainbow its beauty is awe-inspiring, perfect in unity, evoking sensation. Variety adds interest but not too much creates balance. Its blessing is a true reflection of God as is everything the Lord created.

A rainbow has seven colours gods number. What are the colours of a rainbow?

Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet.

Colours are symbolic, closest to God is as follows:

Red– sin earth- feast of the new moon.

Orange-separation-feast of unleavened bread.

Yellow-life-eternal life-age of Israel-Feast of Passover.

Green blessings-fruit-church age-feast Pentecost.

Bluekingdom of heaven-feast of tabernacles 1st heaven.

Then there is a covering-destruction of the universe 2nd heaven-barrier.

Indigo-Royalty-creation-new heaven and earth-Feast of lights.

Violet-Holy sanctification-Glory of New Jerusalem.

God is in the middle but does not have a colour he is a spirit, and present everywhere pure-holy. A rainbow is actually a full circle and is only observed as such from above, or defiantly by God.

Colours are visible light spectrums, colours in nature, artificial colours, symbolic colours and patterns. Everything God crafted has a plan for salvation and life. Design and colours add a vivid artistic portrayal of Gods plan to a born again Christian. It’s amazing how red is the outer colour of an arc, and reminds us of the blood of Jesus Christ, when he was brutally crucified and sin veiling the earth. Indigo-violet of his majesty and divine glory, reminding humans of the creators devotion and faithfulness as he loves us.

Isaiah 48:14

My hand laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand spread out the heavens, when I call to them, they stand forth together.

So what is s rainbow?

This came right after the Great flood of the days of Noah to remove sinful, evil-minded man. There is tons of fossil evidence to prove the great flood happened. It portrayed the Lords great mercy and the covenant he established with Noah or mankind not to destroy the world in such a way ever again with water. A rainbow is formed beautifully when the sun shines through water droplets, which then acts as a prism separating white light into the radiant colours of spectrum. A rainbow is not a physical object and can never be actually touched, so the pot of gold is God. If light reflects twice in water droplets a double rainbow can occur. Rainbows are also symbols of Christ. We can see evidence of rainbows in fountains, mist and rain storms, this is consistent with science, as is clouds did not appear before the flood, but afterwards. Rain requires a bow or arc to form and scientists agree on this principle. God gives us value in food, rainbow colours incorporate healthy foods for us to consume, our gift of well-being through his rainbow garden. Healthy diet is mentioned in the bible.

Ezekiel 1:26-28

26 And above the firmament over their heads was the likeness of a throne, in appearance like a sapphire stone; on the likeness of the throne was a likeness with the appearance of a man high above it. 27 Also from the appearance of His waist and upward I saw, as it were, the color of amber with the appearance of fire all around within it; and from the appearance of His waist and downward I saw, as it were, the appearance of fire with brightness all around. 28 Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord.

In revelation Christ is seen by John with a cloud and a rainbow on his head.

Revelation 4:2-3

Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne. 3 And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald.

Genesis 9:10-16

And God said: “This is the sign of the covenant which I make between me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I set my rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. It shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud; and I will remember my covenant which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh. The rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will look on it to remember the everlasting. covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.”

Prior to the flood there was a much different environment on the planet.

Genesis 2:5-6

before any plant of the field was in the earth and before any herb of the field had grown. For the Lord God had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground; but a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground.

Ezekiel 1:28

And God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant which I have established between me and all flesh that is on the earth.”

Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. Remember most common colours seen by the naked eye make up a rainbow. There was no rain before the great flood this is a scientific fact. Earth is the only planet in the solar system where rainbows are possible.

Genesis 7:4-12

For after seven more days I will cause it to rain on the earth forty days and forty nights, and I will destroy from the face of the earth all living things that I have made.5 And Noah did according to all that the Lord commanded him. 6 Noah was six hundred years old when the floodwaters were on the earth. 7 So Noah, with his sons, his wife, and his sons’ wives, went into the ark because of the waters of the flood. 8 Of clean animals, of animals that are unclean, of birds, and of everything that creeps on the earth, 9 two by two they went into the ark to Noah, male and female, as God had commanded Noah. 10 And it came to pass after seven days that the waters of the flood were on the earth. 11 In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. 12 And the rain was on the earth forty days and forty nights.

The Ark had a dual purpose. Atheists like to say that it did not exist because there is no evidence to support the fact.

The reason people will never find the real Noah’s Ark is because it was used to build houses and for fire wood after the flood. You must remember that there was no trees and no food after water destroyed everything. Man would have logically stayed around 30 years inside the Ark using it as his home to reestablish life on a ravaged land. This would have included planting seeds to grow crops and trees, reestablishing growth of plant life takes time. When they migrated from the ark to populate the land it was left alone for approx 135 years, in this time it would have rotted and burned away. Other people around the area would be aware of the boat and use its material for fires, tools, and construction of buildings. The Ark does not exist today and will never be found, fake web sites that say it does are just fake.
