The Purpose Of The Bible And Mankind
When Our Lord God breathed life into the bible or basic instruction before leaving earth, he wrote what was needed and necessary for mankind. God loves us and decided to create a book for mankind to read, teach, and pass on to others to save souls, Bringing man back to God through The Holy Spirit. Books in the bible are regarded as canonised or inspired by the creator, authoritative for genuine faith and life. No church created canonisation. Canonised is a Greek word meaning Standard or rod. Canon was a process conducted by Jewish rabbis, and scholars, then later by Christian people. The Lord decided what books belong in the biblical canon. The first book was written around 1660 B.C, and the last close to the first century A.D. The bible is accurate today from the original writings, names, locations, dates have all been proved.
God spoke to scribes or his chosen prophets to write his law down inspired by The Holy Spirit our comforter and helper. If God does not exist then where did this very clever information come from? Nobody could write the bible without the inspiration of The Holy Spirit, its messages within messages, parables and new things are discovered every time it is read. We can say that the bible is a true masterpiece of scripture far beyond human thinking, but unlocked through the helper and comforter The Holy Spirit.
When a man comes to Christ being born again, the bible is not instant scripture, but written by different people over time inspired by the Lord. Every alleged bible contradiction has been answered, in a credible manner, there are hundreds of scholarly books that document and fine pick the veracity and truth of the bible. God was able to deliver, through mankind a fully exceptional masterpiece written down, preserved accurately for fifteen hundred years and sons of God would see through disguise from non-canonical writings and false books. The bible is the only book that corrects us when we are wrong and teaches mankind to do right.
2 Timothy 3-16
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Doctrine means beliefs or body of principles.
Reproof means proved or tested but literally means reproach or rebuke. This is largely misunderstood, but simply means it shows us when we are wrong. It reproves us and corrects our attitudes:
Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamour, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
Correction means we know where we went wrong:
And be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
No scripture is devised from Man or interpretation from the human will. Prophecy came from the Holy Spirit. There are so many detailed prophecies all have been fulfilled later. Isaiah 53:3-6 was written 700 hundred years before Jesus was born. Reading this it is the birth, life, death and resurrection of the Son of God, Crucifixion was not even invented then.
“He is despised and rejected by men,
A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;
He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.
Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes, we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
2 Peter 1:20-21
Knowing this first that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
2 Samuel 23-2
“The Spirit of the Lord spoke by me,
And His word was on my tongue.”
All Jesus words and actions were authorised from the Father, Spirit-led. The Holy Spirit is a beautiful instrument of the creator authoring scripture.
God wanted us to be perfect as he designed us made in his image, equipped to do Gods work walking in the spirit, not in the flesh. He breathed life into a book of himself for us to follow a Holy righteous life. The bible is God directly talking to us. Almost all major advances in the world are from the bible, people acted on the Word. Abolition of slavery, civil rights, woman’s rights, caring, law and the direct notion that life is precious.
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
“As for God, His way is perfect;
The word of the Lord is proven;
He is a shield to all who trust in Him.”
There are 52 books not in the bible from the second and third centuries. They tried to make Christianity trendier, palatable to the Greeks and Roman world. Missing books do not have solid apostolic authorship or roots like some claimed Jesus was not God incarnate or the begotten son of God, and other unbiblical writings with serious errors. The book of Enoch was written during the first century before our Lord Jesus Christ but is not considered scripture, and defiantly not inspired by God. Lost books were known by the Jews in the Old Testament, and also Christians in the New Testament. Abel was the first martyr of the Old Testament and Zachariah last martyr in Old Testament. The Old Testament alone is God’s inspired word and mentions this 2600 times. If the bible is also not truth absolute, then why is it universally regarded as the Good Book?
It is also consistent with its message, historically accurate from amazing archaeological discoveries and eye-witness testimonies to things heard about, seen, looked and physically touched.
That on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar.
The bible is a book that latches onto your heart through The Holy Spirit, look at how people are changed especially in The New Testament. We all have the thinking of Jesus. The New Testament had not evolved over time, the Apostles identified scripture as it was being written. In the New Testament, there are no books missing and was fixed in the fourth century. Old Testament lost books were removed because they were not Greek translation that Jesus and Jews were using. Satan corrupted some scribes to twist scripture, faking books that people believed were from the bible. Yet today the bible has survived and flourished in spite of years of attempt to destroy it, its authorship and message. There are so many acts of growth through the Christian church. Romans has a strong gospel message and then you have the early accounts of the four gospels.
So let’s go deeper what is the true purpose of the bible and mankind?
All humanity is deceived by the devil but for what purpose?
“So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”
“In which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience.”
“How you are fallen from heaven,
O. Lucifer, son of the morning!
How you are cut down to the ground,
You who weakened the nations!”
“And he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things, he must be released for a little while.”
Mankind was created to have a creative mind, power and to have expressive character. We are free moral agents, while Angels were the first free moral agents. Lucifer fell with his angels and now rule our domain.
“And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day.”
Adam was made from the earth in the image of God:
1 Corinthians 15:48-49
“As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.”
Christians as in Corinthians are to receive the Spirit body at the resurrection. Animals posses instinct and were designed with traits to do what they have done for thousands of years. Human intellect can acquire all sorts of information, physical knowledge and spiritual knowledge to develop a strong character with God and fellow-man.
Physical knowledge is through our five senses sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch. Humans have always thrived and tried to better himself while animals do not, only following a pre-programmed instinctive way of life. The human mind can create reason and experimentation where animals cannot. Humans can be expressive and have moved off course throughout time away from the creators true purpose.
When man decided to reason everything out himself we failed and have continued to fail to this present day why is this?
Mankind is heading for destruction why is this?
Think about it logically everything we buy that requires knowledge comes with an instruction Manual without it we would not be able to use it. The bible was given to mankind as his instruction manual but hardly anyone ever uses it properly or at all.
The bible has revealed knowledge of who we are and how to live, it has history, prophecy, and correct morals. Scripture was not meant to contain all the information only what is needed for salvation.
God’s book is designed to teach the truth, morals for us to reason and use our minds in accordance with the Lords spiritual laws and comply with his government. Education from scripture and following it to the letter there would be no wars, disease, divorce, rape, murder, theft and much more.
6000 years of misery of man and we still have not learnt our lessons. Our human reasoning has always led to building bigger and greater weapons of mass destruction, twisting the bible and the Koran so killing is justified in the name of God.
God is fashioning man in his image to those he calls:
“But now, O. Lord,
You are our Father;
We are the clay, and You our potter;
And all we are the work of Your hand.”
The creator is working in the minds of his sons with The Holy Spirit. Character has to be developed for us to grow in grace and knowledge of God. We all endure hardship and trials but we can overcome and be saved at the end. Faith is a wonderful gift from the creator:
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”
Christians should work for God, salvation is a complex process to become a new creation with god’s will not his own, while pleasing the Lord and others, not himself.
Man is flesh but has a spirit which gives him understanding:
“But there is a spirit in man,
And the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding.”
Mankind is physical matter and has a spirit inside to work with him:
“Thus says the Lord, who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth and forms the spirit of man within him.”
1 Corinthians 2:11
“For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.”
The spirit of God and the spirit of man are knitted together inside man, but without God’s help, spiritual knowledge stays locked away. In the born again Christian the two spirits work beautifully unified as one.
“The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord,
Searching all the inner depths of his heart.”
“The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.”
The Christian person at death returns the human spirit to God for judgment.
1 Thessalonians 5:23
“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Spirit, soul and body the full representation of man:
“But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect.”
Spirits will be kept with him until the day of resurrection when we are made new we will no longer have human nature but spirit nature, no flesh desire will ever exist again.
Our beautiful mind that God fashions throughout life records all our good and wicked deeds much like one big supercomputer. The creator can access all this stored data at judgment. Man’s spirit needs a physical brain or a spirit mind when we are born again. The spirit of man works with the brain to give us our complex amazing minds. Christians true followers of God only grow by being in Christ:
“To them, God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
The creator builds up righteousness:
“For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God.”
True spiritual growth comes through mankind doing his part and not rejecting his destiny. Atheists are missing out on expanding their understanding by believing in false ideas. The government of God wants members, workers, and leaders to work for him in the coming kingdom of God:
“And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.”
1 Corinthians 6:9
“Brethren! Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites.”
The foundation of everything is Christ. We suffer daily on this planet war, terrorism, death and struggles grip us in fear and we are cut off from God. But remember we are made better through suffering as it teaches us where we went wrong. Jesus was perfected through suffering on the cross. Suffering we learn obedience that if we follow God’s laws in the first place we would not suffer but prosper. Suffering activated the spiritual learning mechanism into gear, adversity builds character.
God today only works with a few loyal Christians in the modern world and not the masses yet. Nations governments will never mould character but the Lords justice system will. Man learns that wars, disease, poverty, rape, and terrorism are all his own fault and doing because we can’t follow a simple instruction book the bible.
Through suffering mankind will learn a lesson that God is the Father and suffering produces character within them, remember the Lord is long-suffering for his creation.
God has one spirit based Son in Christ but later he will have many born again sons to help establish his government. Christians are people who have in part the divine nature of God, so ask yourself do you want to have divine nature?realise
Do you want to do what is right from what is wrong?
Do you want a character of Christ?
God has perfect character and is love and law, he cherished his chosen sons so ask yourself God has a plan do you?
To build the very character of the creator is why man exists on earth. Pick up your instruction book today and read your bible, take on the character of God and realise your awesome potential.
We are not dumb animals from evolution but have three parts working as one for Jesus Christ, we just need help from the most popular book in the world the bible.
