Adam And Eve

The Seed Of Doubt
The Seed Of Doubt

Adam The First Man

The man was created by God for the glory of God. The woman was made to glorify man. So we exist only to bring glory to the creator, and a woman brings glory through the man and not to usurp his given role.

1 Corinthians 11:7

“For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of man.”

Adam was the first man fashioned in the image of God and came first. And was given authority over all animals, and all nature but not over fellow-man. The man was not created to suffer, he was created into Gods beauty of creation, to look after his handy work. To be happy in paradise, with a helper in Eve. The man was first originally and immediately the image and glory of God. Woman and Eve were created secondary through man, as man is made perfect on account of his more extensive dominion and authority is given to him by the Lord. A head covering worn in a church is a symbol, she is covered before God, to show her shame for the first transgression against divine law.

Genesis 1:26

Then God said,

Adam was under the rule of Jesus Christ. Whereas Christ looked to the Father:

1 Corinthians 11:3

“But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a woman is the man, and the head of Christ is God.”

Adam was made first from dust from the ground afterwards came Eve. Eve was created from the lower rib bone from Adam, which is the only one that will regenerate if removed. Scientists have confirmed we are made from 28 base and trace elements all found in the ground. The colour red is symbolic of Adam and comes from the soil he was made and sin that entered the world. If God formed man he was careful and lovingly created something to reflect his image. The breath of life was the seal of perfection, animals were not made in the image of God. His death mentioned in the bible was obviously a spiritual one, and not physical at that time. Adam became a dead soul after losing The Holy Spirit that was given to him when God gave him the breath of life. Reversely, this blowing off The Holy Spirit was what had made him a living soul. Before receiving the breath of God, Adam was a living being like all the other animals on the earth complete with all characteristics. He was given a spirit, a mind and a heart, just like all the animals, each and every one according to its species. So ask yourself today in modern times how much Of God’s image is reflected in me?

Genesis 2:6

“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living being.”

1 Timothy 2:13

For Adam was formed first, then Eve.”

Adam was given the honor of naming animals, birds and all living creatures made by God. He was made a little lower than Angels but was the crowning glory of creation.

Genesis 2:19-20

“Out of the ground, the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name.”

Adam was not deceived by Satan but rebelled against God by following his wife’s instruction. He ate from the tree of good and evil and spiritually died for disobeying God. As Adam was made first and placed in a position of authority he took the blame.

Genesis 3:17

Then to Adam, He said, You shall not eat of it Cursed is the ground for your sake;

In toil, you shall eat of it

All the days of your life.”

1 Timothy 2:14

“And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived fell into transgression.”

Adam and Eve both were punished by God for breaking the divine law. Adam and Eve died spiritually, but also became mortal to die physically. Tricked into thinking, they could be like God by Satan never materialised. Adam and Eve’s state of existence was not enhanced but filled with misery and death through sin. They would be removed from the garden to experience what life would be like outside God’s perfect will.

Genesis 3:19

“In the sweat of your face, you shall eat bread

Till you return to the ground,

For out of it you were taken;

For dust you are,

And to dust, you shall return.

With separation mankind began to call on the Lord, no longer walking with him in the Garden of Eden.

Genesis 4:26

“Then men began to call on the name of the Lord.”

Eve The First Woman

Eve was made second from a rib of Adam, not from the dust of the ground. From the rib of man shows a strong bond as they were part of each other. The rib of Adam was closest to his heart.

Genesis 2:21-22

“And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept, and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.”

1 Corinthians 11:8

“For man is not from woman, but woman from man.”

1 Timothy 2:13

“For Adam was formed first, then Eve”

Eve was made in the image of God and under the headship of Adam. The woman is under the headship of man. Whereas man looks to Christ. God made Adam a helper as it’s not good to be alone, as an act of fellowship.

1 Corinthians 11:3

“But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a woman is the man, and the head of Christ is God.”

Genesis 2:18

“And the Lord God said,

Eve was deceived by Satan by having the seed of doubt placed in her mind. Why did Satan pick Eve and not Adam to deceive? Many people think woman are more vulnerable to temptation, she misrepresents Gods covenant falling to disobedience. God gave us free-will so the temptation was always likely to occur. God could have made us robots, but robots can’t be tempted. The Lord wanted to see if his creation would follow him no matter what. With free will rebellion was triggered. why did God let Satan into the Garden knowing what would happen? Because it was his divine will to do so. Just as it is our will to see how our children will approach situations knowing that they will fail, we do so because that is what it means to mature, grow and learn, to exercise one’s free will, and to take responsibility for our all our actions whether good or bad. God had a plan and Jesus was the final piece in the puzzle, to checkmate Satan.

1 Timothy 2:14

“And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived fell into transgression.”

God punished Eve for breaking the divine law, By increasing pain in childbirth and the man shall be the head not equal. Eve is the mother of all living humans. We all come from one bloodline and that is Adam and Eve. Scientists today agrees we come from one gene pool. As Eve was made from a man she was given the name woman. We are all a church made to glorify God, and a dwelling place for The Holy Spirit.

Genesis 3:16

“To the woman He said:

Genesis 3:20

“And Adam called his wife’s name Eve because she was the mother of all living.”

Genesis 2:23

And Adam said:

Ephesians 5:30

“For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones.”

Adam and Eve would have known about the conflict between Satan and Jesus Christ after the fall. They also knew that God exists and Jesus would wash sin away through the shedding of his blood on the cross. So we can confidently say Adam and Eve would have repented their sins and are now in heaven with God. The man was the jewel in the Lords creation, whereas Satan who does not want to be inferior to God, even though he always will be as he was created, tried to overthrow divine authority causing a rebellion in heaven. Satan wanted to be God himself a supreme being and will never be forgiven. Humans have free will, whereas Angels don’t. Satan had one choice and turned away from God. Satan led a third of the angels to turn away with a choice to follow him or God. Revelation makes it clear that Satan will be chained for one thousand years and then released for a short time but will never see God’s face again.

Revelation 20

Satan Bound 1,000 Years

20“Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; 3 and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things, he must be released for a little while.”

Satan controls this world, God refers to this world in the bible or the evil system in direct conflict with the creator. Satan is an Angel and has power but it is limited. Satan has authority, the word authority comes from the word author. In Genesis the Lord tells us, he is the author of the universe. Satan is the author of lies!
