Saved In Christ

We are all children of God if we receive God into our lives, we have a right to become his children, Mankind is fallen, separated from its true identity. We have the mind of Christ, and we are made in his image. If we believe in his name and except faith. Jesus will open his arms wide, and begin a beautiful process of change within us with the help of The Holy Spirit.

John 1:12

12 But as many, as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.

We will be born again, shedding our old body for a new model, walking in the spirit and not in the flesh. This is the pathway into the Kingdom of God, to have everlasting life. We all need to be in the light and remove ourselves from the shadow of darkness.

The New Birth

3 There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. 2 This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.”

3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

4 Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”

5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

9 Nicodemus answered and said to Him, “How can these things be?”

10 Jesus answered and said to him, “Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not know these things? 11Most assuredly, I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness. 12 If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? 13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven. 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so, must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned, but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practising, evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”

We become a new creation, having taken Christ inside us. As Jesus washed away our sins through his blood on the Cross, we are also washed new.

2 Corinthians 5:17

17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

We are accepted by God, by his wonderful grace. Grace is a free gift contrary to human nature, which pride says we can do everything ourselves. Remember Jesus gives us life and the power to make choices, we need to make the right one.

Ephesians 1:6

6 “To the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.”

He gives us the wonderful free gift of eternal life, to dine at his table. There will be a great celebration in heaven, with food and singing. Living in the spirit produces unique characteristics deep down in our personality.

John 10:28

28 “And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.”

How wonderful will it be for us to be finally reconciled with our Father, who has done, and given us so much that we take for granted?

Romans 5:10

10 “For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.”

Peace of the mind will help us with many problems in everyday life. Trust in God and forget all worries which can lead to depression, anxiety and worse. Having been born again I have had not one nightmare since and sleep soundly under God’s protection.

Philippians 4:7

7 “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

We are justified by faith, being made righteous. How wonderful is this God declares a sinner to be righteous? Because we put our trust and love in Jesus Christ, then having peace with God and Jesus but ultimately our inner selfs.

Faith Triumphs in Trouble

5 “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

We are a citizen of heaven. We legally belong to God’s country or Kingdom and he vows to protect us. Finally, we shed the kingdom of Satan. Satan controls this world and enslaves us. But when born again we are born into the kingdom of heaven, becoming new creatures.

Philippians 3:20

20 “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.”

We are a co-heir with Jesus Christ. The wonderful verse we are adopted into a Royal bloodline, having an equal share with him as sons and daughters of the living all-powerful God. How beautiful it will be to shed our outer garments and be made pure and transcendent like him!

Romans 8:17

17 “And if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.”

We have passed death into life. All believers have already passed from death to life! Before faith, we are all spiritually dead. Gaining Jesus Christ we are given the greatest gift eternal life.

1 John 3:14

14 “We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death.”

The Holy Spirit dwells in you. Our bodies are like an outer court, but the inner is where The Holy Spirit dwells in our Spirit. The Holy of holies is inside us, and the blood of Christ cleanses us daily. Remember The Holy Spirit is God’s helper and comforter, and always guides us back to Jesus.

2 Timothy 1:14

14 “That good thing which was committed to you, keeps by The Holy Spirit who dwells in us.”

You are forgiven of all sins. But must remember all sins are forgivable but not if you blaspheme The Holy Spirit if you do this you cut off all contact with God. The Holy Spirit is our only way to find Jesus and find God. We are separated if we cut off the only way back to the Lord then God thinks we are no better than Satan.

Colossians 2:13

13 “And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses.”

We are adopted into the Royal family of God. What a privilege this is as it’s not given to all mankind! Who have turned their back on the Lord? This is the desire of God to appoint his sons into the family that have been made into the image of Christ.

Galatians 4:5

5 “To redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.”

Our name is written in the beautiful book of life. This speaks volumes, we will not be cast out into the lakes of fire! Who wants to be blotted out of the book of the living as it quotes in Psalm 68:29

Philippians 4:3

3 “And I urge you also, true companion, help these women who laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life.”

We receive the righteousness of Christ. Our heavenly Father is perfect so must we be. We can never be perfect on earth through sin. We can only meet God’s standards when we shed our polluted garments and have full obedience in the law of God.

Romans 3:22

22 “Even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference.”

We are baptised into the body of Christ. The body is the Church of Christ, coming together with unity and faith and the full understanding of the Son of God, to be the rod or measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

1 Corinthians 12:13

13 “For by one Spirit we were all baptised into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.”

We are a friend of God no longer his enemy. God never wanted to separate us from himself, he has always been our friend and loves us all. But if we can’t follow his laws and turn our backs on what he created in his image then what do we expect! He gave us free will to love him not to desire the material world and close the door when he comes knocking!

John 15:15

15 “No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.”

We have an inheritance in heaven waiting for us. When he makes everything new we will not have Facebook, X-box and T.V to waste our precious time. Stop waiting to receive your inheritance, we also have inheritance now on earth. Christ has left us with his protection, deliverance, prosperity, restoration and provision until we get to heaven! We get a taste of things to come when we receive the fruits of The Holy Spirits and gifts. We need to fully believe!

Peter 1:4

4 “To an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you.”

We are sealed by The Holy Spirit until the final day of redemption by the Lord. This means we are secure in his love and power. Sealed means guaranteed and is ultimately God’s stamp and trademark of approval. Redemption in receiving our glorified bodies, resurrected, changed and glorified as new spiritual beings.

Ephesians 4:30

30 “And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.”
