Homosexuality Take One

“God So Loved the World So what does our Lord make of homosexuals on this earth? Society today portrays homosexuality as simply an “alternative lifestyle” Modern as we are now in a concurrent era. Parades are held to mark and honour homosexuality, like Gay Pride, LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, bisexual, and transgender) event, Rainbow to name a few. Some schools even teach homosexuality, as part of everyday life.

When we write this topic there is no offence meant. I am a Christian, I have gay friends and work colleagues. We are not homophobic but follow Gods moral laws.

Let’s take a look at how God judges homosexuality.

Leviticus 18:22

“I am the Lord. You shall not lie with a Male as with a woman. It is an abomination.”

Leviticus 20:13

“If a Man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death, their blood shall be upon them.”

Hebrews 13: 4-5

“Marriage is honourable among all, and the bed undefiled, but fornicators and adulterers God will Judge. Let your conduct be without covetousness, be content with such things as you have.”

Mark 10: 6:9

“But from the beginning of creation, God made them Male and Female. For this reason, a man shall leave Father and Mother and be joined to his Wife. And the two shall become one flesh. So then they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate.”

God views homosexuality as detestable, or an abomination. In The Old Testament, God’s laws required people who committed homosexual acts to be put to death. Our Father created man to be with a woman, to follow his laws, within a loving marriage, family, love, respect, honour, purity, bringing up children within the teachings of moral law and love of God. The Old Testament laws were not perfect, Jesus came to perfect the law, and take it to a higher level, so the argument that the Old Testament does not apply is wrong.

Is Homosexuality Genetic?

In my opinion no it’s a gap in love and intimacy, going in the wrong direction and way. God knows what he created and is best for us. If we search for intimacy in the wrong direction, we harm our relationship with him. This harms everything in the world, Love is sacred and Designed, not to be misshapen, which Satan latches onto and propels hard in that direction to great destruction and spiritual death.

So is homosexuality outdated?

Jesus died for us and washed our sins away, so now it’s ok?

Romans 1:26-29

“For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise, also men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting. Being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness Shameful lusts, unnatural relations, indecent acts, perversion.”

What can we say here, Satan is laughing at us, rubbing his hands? Satan controls the earth, and everything on this planet is influenced from an early age childhood. If we see images, TV, pop stars, parades, films, then what do you expect today. We were given free will, we are creative, expressive, and like to try new things. Allot of information we receive is portrayed as being trendy, or cool on this topic, but does not go deeper into the issue. In part two of this topic, I will go deep into the roots of homosexuality.

Do we truly worship and honour God these days?

We actually following Man’s laws. God say’s it’s unnatural. We were designed to be one with our wife, in a loving relationship. Then there are children, same-sex cannot make a child if you think about it without medical science if we were homosexual we would be extinct now! Think carefully unless you truly walk in the spirit, we are all dead. Homosexuality is a Sin. How can the Holy Spirit

Dwell if we were made in God’s image inside us if we are unclean and immoral, an abomination in Our Lords eyes?

Paul Writes really in Romans Homosexual desire is unnatural because it separates us from the natural sexual compliment God has provided for man, a woman. This is Gods view.

Sodom and Gomorrah are well-known in the bible for how God sees Homosexuality, bestiality, idol worship, and other ways that were practised, that is unclean, immoral and  an abomination in his eyes. There is also little-discussed scripture of similarities in The Book of Judges, with Sodom And Gomorrah.

Judges 19-22

“As they were enjoying themselves, suddenly certain men of the city, perverted men, surrounded the house and beat on the door. They spoke to the master of the house, the old man saying Bring out the man who came to your house, that we may know him carnally!”

Enjoying themselves, perverted men, they wanted to bring out a man to have sex with him, many men, one man. The verse goes on, and we find they don’t get what they want so they take a virgin daughter and gang rape her from morning-to-night, she is so injured by this internally, that she collapses on the doorstep and is found in the morning dead. God destroys them all 22.000 men, woman and children, everything so the seed cannot be spread further, to other generations this is why children were also killed in righteousness.

would Jesus have practised homosexual acts?

Categorically no, as he would have sinned, and not been the perfect sacrifice for our sins. Also, Jesus had to die to send the Holy Spirit to us through faith, as our helper. We still need to be wise here like in Mathew 10:16 Behold I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.

We all have a past, we need a friend and we have an uncertain future. We need to share Christ and love people. Many Christians today and church leaders, have come across as homophobic, not excepting homosexuality, or homosexuals into churches. Then how can God’s Grace actually get through and help them? If we despise what is deemed as immoral. We should love the person, not the practice itself. We all crave Jesus. We all need to be born again, and able to walk with Christ. Homosexuality is not a lifestyle, and considered correct, we need to reach out to touch everybody with the power of God’s word. Everybody is in a relationship with the creator, homosexuality is a Sin in his eyes. Where is Joy found really?

In Christ alone. Let me say again we do not hate homosexuals or anyone, for that matter. Only that we do not accept practices opposed to Gods moral laws, just because mankind as deemed it acceptable. I ask and pray through our Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, God, Christians, and churches will nurture the hearts of homosexuals, to turn from their detestable ways, and walk tall with Jesus our Lord.
